American Data Company is seeking a full time Project Management Consultant to be part of a team of Professional Services Consultants that are allocated to lead client proj ects and programs. The Primary responsibility of a Project Management Consultant involves leading and executing project related work.
This position is based out of our Salt Lake City, Utah office. Candidates must reside in the area.
Project Management Consultants serve as the owner of a project, program or training engagement, as well as the owner of the client relationship as it relates to the execution of the work effort. Project Management Consultants are expected to leverage application and feature knowledge, and business and marketing domain expertise, in combination with the expertise of an cross functional team to achieve success. Comprehensive training of the application and features is part of the employee intake process.
Overall, a Project Management Consultant is looked to as both a source of leadership and a resource of American Data Company, providing various types of project execution to satisfy our clients and performing various other ad-hoc activities in support of our growing services organization.
A successful Project Mangement Consultant operates efficiently in a fast paced enviroment, maintains composure, demonstrates leadership through maturity and communicates in an exemplary manner.
The ideal candidate will have a proven consulting background demonstrated by previous work in an Email Service Provider (ESP), a marketing/advertising agency, a marketing or technology consulting firm, or as an executive-level digital marketing expert within a corporation known for skill and thought-leadership within the digital space.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and/or provide support to client services engagements, to include projects and programs.
- Play a key role in/manage a client relationship. Work closely with the client to ensure project progress and maintain constant open communication.
- Overall responsibility for project's success.
- Review and Analyze project scope.
- Create project charter, project plan, timeline, schedules, etc. based on sepcific templates.
- Review client-side dependencies and timeline.
- Schedule and lead client meetings.
- Lead and participate in internal knowledge transfer
- Identify issues and escalate to the necessary and appropriate team members and stakeholders.
- Track progress against the project plan and timeline.
- Track and review individual and project team utlization.
- Identify project risks and gaps in requirements.
- Faciliate and resolve client concerns.
- Manage client expectations.
- Establish and nurture positive relationships.
- Lead and effectively manage discussions with mid-to-upper level corporate executives.
- Provide business and marketing domain expertise.
- Prepare appropriate presentations, communication, status reports, and documentation as required on behalf of the client.
