Is the Timer compatible with my Salesforce org?
The Timer uses advanced Force.com features such as Visualforce and Apex. As such, the Timer will only work in the following editions:
- Unlimited
- Enterprise
- Platform
- Developer
If you have installed the Timer into an org with one of the approved editions but are still having troubles getting it to function appropriately, you may need to review the following:
- Incomplete or incorrect installation - make sure that the AppExchange installation process has been completed and that all elements have been successfully deployed. Note that only system administrators have the ability to install AppExchange applications. For a detailed installation walk-through, please refer to the Customization Guide in the sidebar on the right-hand side of this page.
- Invalid user privileges - if your profile restricts you from accessing any of the Timer objects or functionality sets, you will have to discuss this with your Salesforce administrator.
